Chaseley Park was named after the wife of Mr Ian MacDiarmid, Chaseley MacDiarmid, who was an integral part of the early development of the Crows Nest Community. Mrs Chaseley MacDiarmid was on the board of the Crows Nest and District Co-Operative Hospital Society Ltd for about 10 years.
