2003

Crows Nest Shire Council developed the initial stage of Chaseley Park delivering 4 dwellings funded by the Queensland Department of Housing.

2017

CNCS Ltd purchased the balance of the Chaseley Park land from the Toowoomba RegionalCouncil, with the view to further develop the precinct. The intended purpose is to provideaffordable and community housing to the community.

2020

Initial design and plans drafted for Chaseley Park.

CNCS Ltd held a Community Forum in Crows Nest to discuss the project and gain feedback.

2023

Toowoomba Regional Council approved the Material Change of Use for Chaseley Park.

2026

Tender awarded to commence Operational Works package.

Stage 1 Earthworks underway scheduled to conclude August 2026

2008

Crows Nest Shire Council was amalgamated with seven other Councils to for the currentToowoomba Regional Council.

​

All Crows Nest Shire Council assets were transferred to Toowoomba Regional Council,including the balance of the Chaseley Park land.

2018

CNCS Ltd commissioned a needs assessment report undertaking a demographic andeconomic analysis to identify the form of development most beneficial to the Crows Nestcommunity.

A locally based Consultant was engaged by CNCS Ltd to assist in the development andmanagement of the project.

​

An initial pre-lodgement meeting with Toowoomba Regional Council was undertaken toreconfigure the Chaseley Park lot.

2021

The Chaseley Park design work and required reports were undertaken for submission to

Changes to Development Approval submitted to Toowoomba Regional Council.​​

Approval received for Stage 1 of the Chaseley Park development.

Operational Works approval received from Toowoomba Regional Council.

2011

Formation of Crows Nest Community Solutions Ltd (CNCS Ltd) as an unlisted public not- for-profit Company with full charitable status. The charity CNCS Ltd are governed by a Board ofDirectors who all have a local connection to the region.

2019

The following professionals were engaged to develop the next stages of Chaseley Park.Consultant within the area of Disability, Town Planner, Architectural firm, Engineering firm,Surveying company and Environmental Consultants.

2022

An application for the Development Approval for Stage 1 of Chaseley Park was submitted toToowoomba Regional Council.

CNCS Ltd engaged with a local Community Housing Provider as a potential partner.​

2025

Approval received from Toowoomba Regional Council for a Material Change of Use from a single titled property to a Group Title.

Tender process for Stage 1 earthworks undertaken.
